I dont like the sacking of manager's its the horrible side of Football.
Hughes has been poor all season and for the life of me can not understand why.
He's is a very rich man so can afford it and will probably not affect his lifestyle,but i fear this may well be his last appointment for a long time.
Hughes is human and makes mistakes but is not entirely to blame he's a descent bloke and a gentleman and i wish him well.
Feelings are running high and i for one just like most on here are very ****ed off, but if and its a big if, we are to survive in the prem the manager must go.

None taken. I have worked with people in the passed who had the threat of being sacked and i saw it with my own eyes they fell apart.

I've worked with people who have been sacked or been made redundant and I saw the how they fell apart for fear of not making a mortgage payment......I have little or no sympathy for premier league managers being sacked.

This. The fear of the sack when youre living on the bread line is a whole different ball game to the fear of the sack when youre a multi millionaire that will pocket further cash for being the bullet.

I listened to MH on the radio this AM (was repeat interview after match) and he is no doubt gunuinly hurting - I have no doubt about that. He does care.

However, these guys are paid a lot, so I struggle to have sympathy for them when they lose a job, becuase they can afford to do things I only dream of, like taking 6 months off to travel around the States or Europe etc... They don't have mortgages to pay and jobs they hate and we, the fans, have funded them and they have got more and more greedy, so we have to pay more and more.

So, I have no sympathy when any PL player or manager loses their job. In my industry we use contractors - they get paid much more than permenant staff as they can be disposed of when required - that is the price you pay to get the premium salary - so that's life I am afraid.

I will always remember when David Seaman let in that howler against Brazil. He cried at the time and then was laughing at an interview 2 days later - saying it's only football, and he it's just one of those things. I remember at the time realising it meant more to the fans (club/country doesn't matter) than it does to the players once they are super rich, as they have a life of luxury to comfort them and many of us find life's silver lining in our football club, so it hurts much, much more.

In most other walks of life when big money isn't a factor people find new jobs when they aren't cut out to do the one they're in. People are honest and move on. Hughes will continue to talk about stability to justify keeping his until he is sacked and PAID OFF. This is very different and a case I have no sympathy with. Sorry.
