Don't forget, IH also rejected Agogo a few seasons earlier, when QPR were in the 3rd tier. Agogo then joined Barnet and scored freely, before joining Bristol Rovers (?) and then Forest. He scored freely for all these teams.
2 seasons ago, IH gave Rueben Reid a free transfer from Plymouth and tried to buy him from Rotherham for Blackpool in the summer.
Holloway has the best reputation for buying lower league strikers and making them play well at a higher standard. Maybe Paladini should ask him?

But, please don;t tell me that Leeds would accept an offer for 2 million. They've said No to our 2.8 million plus player deal and a Bolton offer of 2.5 million
If he goes before transfer deadline date it will take a big big bid. My betting is, he stays at leeds at least until January.
Leeds are doing an Everton with Beckford, brinkmanship. He will sell him like we did with Blackstock coz its better to get something than notrhing at the end of the contract.
People bang on about Beckford coz they see the final piece in the jigsaw.
If leeds go up he will probably sign a new deal. To me it looks like his happy there scoring for fun and hasn't kicked up a fuss about leaving. Probably sign a nice deal if they go up..IMO if he wanted to leave he would do a Lescott and winge not bang in 2 goals a game.
