    Nelsen

Credit to one who deserves it and the one is Nelsen! He's been very good, but I don't see any threads about him. Maybe it's not allowed to post positive ones nowadays?

He has been quality. tbf it's been no surprise for me, regardless of age, he's been a top class CB for years and captained a comfortable prem side for years. Also captain of his country and ultimate professional. Also was at a top 4 club for half last season and HR had nothing but great things to say about him.

In pre season when the debate of skipper was being had i am certain had Nelsen been able to be with the squad sooner, rather than be off with New Zealand for the Olympics, he would've definitely been captian imo, and without doubt the best candidate in our squad. Many were saying he won't even play and we need different CB's and slating him juts becasue he's "past it" due to age.... laughable logic by some.

The laughable thing about this is that the Sun gave Nelsen the lowest mark for yesterdays game, where as i thought he was our best defender, just goes to show that obviously the reporters do not go to the game.

Nelsen to me is what a footballer is all about. Passion & commitment. I think the guy is brilliant
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

As you can see from my pic have been a fan of his for a while.

No nonsense defender who isnt afraid to get stuck in.
