              No, but if you are paid 50,000 a week to work out ways of out-witting defenders you might stay up once a week to watch MoTD i- particularly seeing as on an average day he probably finishes work at lunchtime. Who was that defender we had from arsenal about 10 years ago who admitted he much preferred cricket - sadly it also showed in the way he played.

                This is utter rubbish...

                I listened to his interview on Talksport. He was simply asked 'Are you the type of footballer who watches football all the time', to which he replied, 'No not really, it can get a bit much when you are a footballer'.

                I certainly didnt see it as him falling out of love with football just that football is his job and he would rather do other things when not training, playing etc. Dont blame him to be honest!
