If you actually knew how to read, you would see that my main issue was not the distance of the goalkicks, I said "some" of them don't reach the halfway line, not "most". It was just an observation, as I think not getting any distance on your kicks is not such a good idea as if the other team wins possession, the pressure is immediately on you again.

Of course the length matters. If you're kicking it only to the halfway line and lose possession, then the other team can come straight back at you in a dangerous position. That is why goalkicks are always in the other teams half.

Correct. I like cesars kicks, always looks for a player rather than lumping it aimlessly upfield .

I do know how to read mate. It's the precision and which player to receive it that matters. Agreed?
