The BBC weather site updates every half hour and its now showing Cloud with occasional rain and some sunny spells for 12 noon onwards in W12 so all should be okay.

22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Stanwell! Lived there for a year or so a while back. On the village green in a tiny 300 year old house. Got bored of drunken ****s vandalising the cars as they staggered out of the Five Bells every weekend.....

The club have just put these updates on facebook

PITCH UPDATE: As of 9.30am this morning, the pitch at Loftus Road was playable, despite persistent rainfall overnight in West London. #QPR

With the weather forecast to improve in the next few hours, we don't at this stage foresee any problems with today's Barclays Premier League clash against Reading going ahead. #QPR

Agreed, the old part of the village actually looked really nice though, it was just the scumbags from the estates behind were just too close Airport wasn't too bad, being parallel to the runways meant the noise was tolerable, except when Concorde took off, and the windows rattled (no double glazing in a Grade II listed cottage)

Would have been a great place to live a hundred years ago. Pretty much the opposite to where I live now tbf, as I'd be in the middle of the barracks with a german POW camp about to be built!!
