In today's world of football, it's the route you have to take to make it.

The good days of football has long gone, it will never be the same again.

I do get the feeling there's a sizeable chunk of the club's support that yearns for the days of **** football, fights with opposition fans, and lower league away grounds just because they don't like people other than those exactly like them liking football now.

The crowd tonight was always going to be a slightly different make-up to the usual crowd. Cup football always gives those less committed/financially flushed a chance to get to a game.

The baying meatheads who people seem to insist are the real fans were well in evidence at the league game on Sunday. Witness the lumps of seat and coins being chucked at United players when Hernandez scored.

No mention of the steward after reading all that, or is he an olympic high jumper for botswana?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
