More Importantly How Did Beckford Slip Through The Nets

    in the first place?

Scored 52 goals at Wealdstone in 84 games and born in Ealing. He would have been around 19 when he made his debutin 2003. We've picked players like this up in the past Ferdinand and Impey to name a few.

Is it about time, we went back to the policy of looking at local lads for the future?

We had him on trial when Gary Waddock was here and it went well. Not sure why he didn't come. Anyone know why?
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

wouldn't hurt going back to that kind of policy...but would we hold onto any talent that would be the point....
also the board are too scared to take a chance buying a player why would they invest in players that might not make the grade.

just proves that just cos they are in charge doesn't mean they are that good....those 2 players alone really put egg on QPR's face, another to add to that even tho it was a loan is mancienne...deemed not good enough......

Chelsea refused a 2.5-3million bid some time ago. Do keep up.

thats what you might have been told, whereas it is common knowledge your mate thought he wasn't good enough along with Cranie

you even defended him, by saying how many goals were Manciennes fault or some old BS like that, then dug Cranie out for playing for Charlton Urmmm went on to play very well for England's U21's

                  i rest my case

Yes, the kid said it, he has confidence in his own ability and I'd rather look back on the season and not make forecasts after 3 games.

Every dog has his day, remember that !!. When he starts scoring, i will come back even stronger

Pete plenty of talent in non league ready to make the step up ;)

Plenty players good enough but these days not many clubs come to watch.
