  • If we had bought Chopra.....

we'd be higher up the league and have a better chance of going up.

But no we bring in 2 players we have never heard of and not proven at this level.

    Chopra was proven and available.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Agree. We've had 15 shots on target in three matches, which includes a goal from a lucky deflection that landed on Helguson's head and a cross come shot. That means 13 shots on target with no goals produced from them. Chopra has had 12 shots on goal and scored 6 - that alone shows the importance and what difference a good quality striker does for a team.

He would have put him on the bench and played his love child Fitz Hall upfront!

don't tell pete that he hates stats that prove a point unless they are trying to prove his point.

Chopra wanted to go back to Cardiff City, some make it sound so easy. We tried to get him last November on loan from Sunderland.

                  Have you met Chopra Pete?

I only ask because he doesn't seem like a very nice young man to me.

Had we matched Cardiff's bid in the summer and offered him more in wages he'd be ours.

We need to start taking a punt on players.

                      Agree.

We outbid them for Routledge who was enjoying life at Cardiff but signed because we offered more money. Chopra would have been no different. Players go where the money is and Chopra would have been ours if we were prepared to have spent the money. We weren't and we still won't.

Talk about living for the moment and not looking at the bigger picture. Seem to remember Cardiff City leading for a long way season before last and faded, with the same YES Michael Chopra.

This last year, I think I heard Chopra had loads of problems with gambling.?Alledgely of course

Oh dear Pete...are you saying Chopra is a reason for that.

The fact is...his goals had them in contention.
