  • QPR-Everton - where to drink before the match

I live abroad, a QPR fan, and I have bought tickets for the next match, staying in London next weekend.
Which pubs to QPR fans go to before home matches?

I have a spare ticket because I bought 4 but one guy is not going.
The ticket is in section B - South Africa Road stand.
Anyone interested in buying this ticket?

I copied your post over to the spare ticket thread; hopefully someone will contact you for that spare ticket.

We like to get off the train at bush then take a stroll down to the green and have a few drinks in there, usually packed full of hoops and a good atmosphere. Then head down to the springbok from there for a quick couple before we head into the ground

Can someone answer this one for me ???

I usually drink in the adelaide before (full of hope...) and after (drowning my sorrows ) every hoops game HOWEVER all draught beer is served in thos sh itty plastic glasses sometimes up until about 9 pm !!! It goes without saying Genius is simply not the same drink out of a plastic 'glass ' .

Is this the same protocol at most pubs around the bush on match day or is the Adelaide living in the dark ages ?

It's the same for every pub in H&F whenever any of the 3 teams are at home. There's a zone around the ground where it's enforced and very restrictive for ALL pubs who are also obliged to have CCTV and door staff
What a load of old to$$
If football fans were a religion or caste we'd have the equality brigade wetting their pants all the time
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

You'll be better off going to the Springbok as that is the true local and nearest to the ground. Get there early.
