Traore: I thought my season was over

ARMAND Traore thought his season was over – now the QPR defender is determined to prove his worth to boss Mark Hughes.

The former Arsenal full-back feared he had broken his leg after a heavy tackle by Norwich City's Robert Snodgrass in the 1-1 at Carrow Road back in August.

I hope he gets over the psychological damage because on his day he's a good player.

I guess some players are always wary of the tackle that could finish them. Don't blame them.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I guess we can expect him to bottle a few challenges then..

When I saw the headline I thought it was going to be confirmation of the alleged fall out with Hughes - when him and Adel got "left out" and "went home on their own, without permission".
That story flew round here like wild fire and people were outraged and disgusted - but based on the information here, that was yet another grossly inaccurate load of cows muck.

He's an injury prone player, we'll never get a decent run of games from him IMO.

Very good footballer when fit and confident though.

Funny that. There were some on here that were not only happy to believe it, but were demanding the pair of them be kicked out of the club as I recall. Most were happy to wait for the truth to come out to be completely fair.

People on here having knee jerk reactions ?! Never thought I'd see the day next Ted will be posting poems and you will be referred to as a cardigan wearing liberal but certain posters!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Yes, the truth is quite inconvenient to these people isn't it!

It was a very heavy challenge by Snodgrass that would have caused injury to any player. It was just unfortunate that it was him.

Agree Stanley, was a very heavy tackle to be fair. But just feel when I watch him he's always one tackle or moment away from pulling up.

But when he does play, I've always thought he looks decent and can certainly play football. Best crosser of the ball at the club too IMO. We just won't get a consistent run of games from him.

Same here, he was one of the players I was looking most forward to this season.

Does beg the question however if he was injured and never in contention why take him to City just to allow him to go home before the match?? or am I missing something was he not actually in Manchester at all??
