Hilarious people moaning about Harry's financial iffyness.... as though we didn't have youknowwho masterminding transfer business.

I stayed schtum about KJ because I wanted to judge on what actually went on in the market. I've seen enough now, his hands were all over a couple of our many questionable signings.

Harry can win a changing room over and bring people together. Cheaper option: Dowie. A far more tactically astute manager than Hughes with a massively better record at our club, working with budget players.

Party option: Olly. At least the football would be watchable.

When the hell was Lord Voldamort involved with our club?!

On a serious note: you would rather Iain Dowie in charge of our side than Hughes?!

Looking at Liverpool now I wonder if their fans think his final year was such a disaster . Personally I want stability and for sparky to turn it around. Having thought about it rafa likes to play people out of position too so maybe ill have to re asses

If Warnock or Holloway had Hughes budget, we would have 1) stayed up before the last day of last season 2) have @ 8 points by now 3) have a passionate man who the fans like, and who motivates players. Hughes was never going to be the right choice for the club at this time in our history. Problem is, sacking him now won't achieve much. I think given the structure in place we're stuck with him for the season and he is the only realistic option. 'Arry isn't the answer. But if we were to get rid of Hughes, my first choice would be Olly.

Im sorry but I couldnt disagree more.

If Warnock was so great why did he do nothing to improve the infastructure that under him was below league one standard?

All Warnock did was try and get a quick fix and build a team of hardworking but not particulalry talented proffesionals (derry, hill, mackie, paddy) around adel.
And credit where credit is due it worked very well. But it was not a stratergy that was going to work in the long run or in the premier league.

Thats why Hughes an be good for us at exactly this time in our history. Because I beleive he's taking a long term view and almost building the club from the bottom up.

Now it hasnt produced immediate reults but it was never intended to be a quick fix. But in the long run it has the potential to be immensly sucessful and stabalising.

                            Great post there Cookie Monster.

People need to be realise, Hughes is here to stay and here to action the plan that he and the board have come up with for long term success. Whilst I would love us to be 4th right now with everything going swimmingly, I don't mind being patient to ensure we are competitive in the long run.

People mentioning Dowie!?!? Some seriously short memories....

This must be a joke? If not, it is the single most ridiculous post ever, and it's like a creche for ADHD kids on here sometimes.
