Well we cannot have both Adel, Cisse and Zamora in the same team.....or at least away from home. We need "bread and butter" (NW would love me for using that term) players to bring stability to our squad and not just flair players like Adel, Cisse, SWP and Hoilett. Two-way players would suit our squad nicely in combination with 2 wingers and 2 forwards in the box. The flat midfield tonight was wrong.....very clear once SD came in in the second half.

Tactics don't come into it when you're not the first to the ball,not looking up for the wide ball, not putting tackles in, giving away possession. No matter who the manager is no one will tell you do play the way those two did

You can't say AF was poor; you'll get hung, drawn and quartered. The bloke is world class you know....where's Mackie when you need a goal....oh well, it's only a game.

They looked much better with Diakite in there. You're right, they're both weak players, Diakite adds a lot more muscle.

today was a real battle between the managers, 1 that huges got completely wrong.

we needed to protect our makeshift defence. faurlin & granero cannot do this. they were never gonna impose themselves against nolan noble & diame!

alardyce got it right, packed the middle and dominated the game, had the big target man up front with a jarvis to stretch us on the wing & vaz te to make something happen.
