    one man upfront at home

totally unacceptable, got my doubts whether they had the heart last night, if you wanted to progress surely you would play 2 front men with support from Hoilett. That defence
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

I'd be ok with one man up front if we had midfielders constantly joining him. I didn't see last nights game, but from the others I have seen, the man up front is too often isolated.

Yesterday was a 4-4-2 from what I could make out. Cisse was slightly more advanced than Hoilet.

For the lone striker to work well, the midfield need to push up and interchange constantly. Attack as a unit, defend as a unit, all about overloading their defence. Too many times, Cisse was up on his own, and the midfield were too slow to catch up.

If we're going to play one up top, then Cisse is not the man for the job, it has to be Bobby Zamora.
Personally, I'd play two strikers every home game, and on Monday night against West Ham both Bobby & Djibril have to start.

Bobby and Cisse up top and Hoilett on left, Park or Tarbs right....unless injured of course.

West Ham at home is normally a win for us:

                  Last 6 matches
West Ham United 2 1 Queens Park Rangers 06/11/2004
Queens Park Rangers 1 0 West Ham United 16/10/2004
Queens Park Rangers 3 0 West Ham United 27/04/1996
West Ham United 1 0 Queens Park Rangers 25/11/1995
West Ham United 0 0 Queens Park Rangers 03/05/1995
Queens Park Rangers 2 1 West Ham United 04/12/1994

I was at the game against Reading, and there was no way Hoilett was supporting Cisse upfront - Hughes' tactics were awful! To play two workers like Mackie and Park in the same team at home is stupid! We had no pace on the wings and there was no urgency about our play. Park's best position is central because he can't cross a ball to save his life.

We've got problems our end too.

Hughton's clueless with subs and leaves it far too late imo.

                        I seriously fear the worse.

Obviously I dont know much about the goings on at your place pal, but I really do think you are going to struggle this year. Dont get me wrong, as it stands now we are looking $hite too, but I cant help but think we will get it together and, over the course of the season, be OK.
