just did a wikipedia search on him and he is the third all time greatest ever goalscorer for chelsea
first is bobby tambling second is kerry dixon

lampard needs only 16 goals to catch bobby tambling

he could actually do that this season,untill I checked this ,I had no idea how many goals frank had scorerd so now I dont know what to say

when i think of chelsea goalscorers i think of greaves bridges tambling osgood etc etc

what this has to do with anything I dont know except of course that our midfield on saturday kept him pretty quiet,so well done midfield for containing the goal machine

i dont really like him, but wouldve had him play for rangers even based on how he played for west ham. he did look like a prize plum for mouthing off at ref with terry when AJ was injured, which is odd as I usually get the impression he conducts quite well on the pitch.

I do have a strange facination for tambling

it goes back to my school days when i was so in awe of the chelsea youth set up,its so very rare to have a winger who can be a prolific goalscorer but chelsea found two at the same time,on the left wing bobby tambling,and on the right wing barry bridges,two wingers that both went on to score
180 -200 goals wow wow wow what a youth set up the chelse had

I really rate this player. Getting so much stick and despite of it he really hold his own on a regularly basis. To be honest, I Would have loved to see him in our team.

well it brings a new dimension to the message board knowbody hates chelsea more than me after they kicked me around the loftus road terrace one year,i then tried to leap out of the loft, got booted up the backside and was launched into the air,so if we acknowledge a player we can swtill hate the chelsea

To be fair he doesn't fit the scummy image imo, clean living private man hate him and you dilute the hate for the odious one
