This was always a risk for us. Only signing 3 proper strikers and let's be honest, all 3 of them have had their injury problems, AJ in particular has had a dreadful time with injuries in recent years. I bet Hughes feels a bit daft now with all these midfielders and no options up front!

It's a blow but Mackie, Adel and Holliet could fill in. Big problem if we lose Zamora though! Any youngsters that we can bring in?

Yep, we've named the squad and DJ isn't part of it. We can't add him now that someone has been injured.

Mackie can play as striker, as can Hoilett. But yeah, naming only three out-and-out strikers, all of whom are over 30 was always likely to bite us in the #### at some point.

It's a real blow as he looked good against City and 'them' but we do have Cisse, Mackie & Hoilett ( even Adel behind Zamora if need be ) not ideal but won't ruin a season.
