the other thing that really gives me the needle is how overly familiar they are with supporters. im not your mate dont call me mate, dont touch me when im not doing anything that warrants it, dont talk to me like im mentally challenged. the problem is that once you bring this up with youve usually lost your rag by this point and look a bit of a tit. i just find it suprising that the police often more courteous, when stewards are used because supporters often find the police too antagonising! i remember having a falling out with a steward which caught the attention of the police, who told me Id be in a position to press charges against them. Why is it that when I go to other venues other than football the stewards seem to treat paying punters with civility?

to be fair they turned up at half time and stood on the stairs in r block as in the first half the stairs were packed out with fans that probably didnt have tickets for the R block. it takes long enough getting out of the r block without people standing on the stairs let alone when people with tickets for other blocks make there way down to R. it was well over crowded 1st half. + dont forget the whole hillsborough thing last week.
but the flag saga was sh*t, it wasnt even blocking an advertisement so i dont see the problem

There's always been a problem down the rangers with stewards, Always seem to cause unnecessary agg in A,R and X. X block was a joke a few seasons ago, Couldn't sing, couldn't stand... Most games a group of us were thrown out by about 15 stewards and a few old bill, then got called for a meeting with the club and had to sign a "good behavior contract" to be allowed back into LR.
