Ex QPR player in the Paralympics........

Just watching GB play the United States in the 7 a side football and the commentator said one of the GB players was in the same youth team at QPR as Peter Crouch.

    Didn't catch his name though.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

He's not from GB. He is from the Cameroon I think.

I went 6th form with him and played against him as a teenager. I remember he almost snapped the crossbar with a freekick once when we were about 14. I'd never seen a goal literally shake so much! Quality player.

Yep, started off at Rangers. He's from Ealing. Gerry Francis took him to Spurs and then he came back to us.

                    Ah, that'll be right.

My old and knackered memory letting me down as usual.

I always thought he was spurs youth rather than ours.

                        Alistair Patrick-Heselton
Visited my sons school today and told the assembly how his career was ended after being in a car crash that saw him thrown through the windscreen of his mates car, that ended his footballing career.
His mate died in the accident, and Alistair was in a coma for months.

Son came back from school today and said a ex QPR player gave a talk, had never heard of him so searched on his name and this old thread came up on google.
