No doubt they will let it go quiet and then effectively brush it under the carpet with a pointelssly small bad of a couple of games.... probably tied in with when he's injured anyway as they wouldn't want to put him out of course, especially as Roy wants him to pay for England.

So basically the FA want the hearing after the gave against us so, when they inevitably brush it under the carpet there won't be any embarrassing fall-out to be seen on MOTD. Bunch of useless *****s.

I doubt Ferdinand will be in our team for that game, opting for Mbia and Nelsen instead at the back, so that should aleviate some of the tension.

Seeing as he has been cleared by a higher authority of racist abuse there is little that they can brush under the carpet. The FA's charge can only be about using insulting words (not racist words) which players do every game. So, if he gets a big penalty he will be able to appeal and will win as he can demonstrate precedence in numerous other incidents of this same offence..

FA can do hardly anything with this.

FA charge Has to be proved 'on the balance of probabilities'.

Terry has been charged by the FA for breaching rule E3 - Use of abusive and insulting words and/or behaviour which included a reference to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race towards an opponent.

In court it could not be determined what exactly was said so they could not prove it beyond reasonable doubt. The FA has a lower level if 'on the balance of probabilities' they find that Terry broke the rule then I'd expect a lengthy ban.

Terry has admitted using the words and if he maintains it as a sarcastic reply then the FA would need to decide whether that was more probable than him calling AF what he did out of anger.

Makes no difference. If he is found guilty of anything that is classed as racism he will be able to sue the FA and will win. As I said, all they can get him on is abusive (not racist) remarks and precedent has been set that players are allowed to get away pretty much free on this one.

I thought he did make a racist remark (which he admitted) but argued he's not racist.
Not quite sure what the difference is.
Either way, he's a high class human being from a very classy background!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
