    Andy Carroll

Out for 6 weeks, meaning he will probably miss the game against us. I'm happy with this, he tore Fulham's defence to shreds on Saturday.

He played well, and won a lot of headers early on, but I got the feeling that the commentators had their 'script' for the game in mind, and it certainly included Andy Carroll having a stormer. He wasn't quite as impressive as they made out.

There's talk Liverpool might hook him back in the January window. If so, WHU aren't going to see much of him at all.

I thought we should have gone for him, alternate him with BZ, AJ and DC also alternating, would have been a good striking team.
            Kept the faith!

Agreed. The game was more about Fulham being shocking than Andy Carroll / West Ham being good. Like you say they lumped it forward and he won some headers..... doesn't make him a great player by any stretch. The fact Fulham then panicked, doubled up on him left space for others to exploit from the knockdowns.

I think 2 of the assists actually came from the ball coming off a Fulham player anyway, definitely Taylor's goal at least.

He played to his strengths, fair play, but that won't work every match... .Fulham had a shocker.

He won plenty of headers granted but he was hardly Pele. Media love bigging someone up.

I'd rather play him, poor definition of the word ' striker '
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Lol, I bet you a pint he scores over 15 goals this season?

No chance, Rodgers won't make himself look like fool.

                          Liverpool will buy in January.

Doubt that's true. The deal is a long till the end of the season which changes to a permanent move if wet spam stay up.
