    Some positive signs

We started the game in embarrassing fashion, but by the end I was quite pleased by what I saw. In the second half we seemed to be playing more as a unit and there was some impressive link-up play between Park, Granero and the two forwards. Granero did brilliantly considering that he has not even trained with the side. With Cesar and Mbia coming into the team, I think we're going to be a difficult team to beat. Plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

I have to say, however, that I can't wait for Green to be dropped from the side. Should have done better with the first goal and, for the third, just stood still. One of the worst goalkeepers I've seen for the R's in recent years - makes Simon Royce seem like Peter Schmeichel. Anton Ferdinand could also do with some extra training, as his performances have been extremely unconvincing this season.

Easy to blame Green, it's in at the moment. It was shot going wide and took reflection from Tevez.
