QPR set to swoop for Mexico star

QPR are planning a £4million swoop for striker Aldo de Nigris.

The Mexico star currently plays for Monterrey in his homeland but has attracted Rangers' attention.
De Nigris, 29, could become the latest international star to join Loftus Road, following the captures of Jose Bosingwa, Esteban Granero and Park Ji-sung, among others.

It's understood Monterrey are keen to sell and the deal is expected to be completed before Friday night's transfer deadline.

Is he any good? His stats on wikipeadi don't looks that great but you can't judge that on a player
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

If he isn't in England or Europe today then I really doubt we will sign him

8 goals in 19 caps for Mehico... Not too shabby.

This would take too long, in Mexico, need work permit etc.

                        beat me to it.

How many Mexicans have played in England anyway? Vela at Arsenal & Dos Santos at Spurs are the only other ones I can recall and to be fair they haven't been given that many games.

                          Wrong Mexican.

The one need is Reyez 19 y o CB, absolutely top class.

as said by others - too late in the day for any of this. unless it's been all working behind the scene for a few days now.
                            but why another striker?
