Exactly. Until now he has near enough been a cert in the line up, now thats far from the case so we will need to up his game and I think he will step up, I really do.

I have been one of the biggest advocates of Adel playing behind a striker, but after seeing the Swansea and Norwich games, Bobby Zamora is better in that position for holding he ball up and linking the midfield with who ever is up top. People use tippy tappy passing stats to justify why Adel should start, but 88 shots, 2 goals with a couple of assists from a creative midfielder is **** poor in the PL and in some teams, may not even justify getting in the 25. For me, its a straight fight between Adel and Hoilett (who has been poo) on the left and they will be plenyy of people with their egos out of joint in the coming months, not just Adel.

Anyway, as I support QPR FC and not any individual player, I don't give a flying **** who plays, where they play or how we play as a team, its all about points for me.

Its fun picking teams, but seldom will any two people pick the same team, tactics and subs, yet we all watch the same games.

On a more sombre note the Trouble n Strife has booked us on a short break to Belgium on saturday and im livid cos the Ferry leaves at the same time as we kick off against Citeh. Does anyone know if the ferries have Sky/Espn? If not im gonna be pacing the decks of that bloody ship not knowing how the match is going.

Competition for places will be great for the club and players will know that they have their work cut out to stay in the team.

Taarabt (and others) will have to be on top of their game to stay in the side. Hoilett, based on his showing so far, is by no means gauranteed a starting place.
Also, I expect quite a bit of squad rotation to rest players or to adapt to the games.
