I was more worried about the financial structure when stadium hysteria kicked in. I may be wrong but I think a massive reality check has hit home, meaning that the penny has dropped: let's get a reliable unit together before anything else.

So I think what MH has been trying to do is ensure quality cover in every position. The only way I can explain the CB thing is that a deal has been done to bring Samba over in the new year and it's a case of mix and match until then. If that hasn't happened, then you could argue that getting cover players in should maybe have been less of a priority than sorting the back two. I think Mittal involvement is the key to stability at QPR, more so than any other factor.

I think the new stadium issue is completely separate from team affairs at present. My guess is the new stadium will be self-financing through sponsorship and being multi-purpose.

The key as you say is staying in the EPL and the only way we can do that is by investment in the squad. The good thing is that we're not spending tens of millions like some other clubs are, and the board is working to a strict budget and not caving into greedy wage demands.

Tony is very shrewd, just look at the Park deal and how much money he has generated from it in Asia i would say more than enough to cover Parks wages and a few others to tell you the truth. Now look at Cesar and the Brazilian interest we are gradually turning into a global brand.
