Is Cesar still No 1 Brazil Keeper

If so this will mean that we will lose him for every World Cup qualifier etc not exactly a hop across to Europe either so will probably be missing for days every game?

      which is good.

the one that does me over is the africa cup of nations - happens too often, takes too many players. needs to be rota'd with the Euros.

Cesar lost his place in the Brazil squad earlier this year following a pretty below-par performance at Inter last season. Brazil, though, are constantly changing their keepers. Their coach Mano Menezes does not have a clue who his top 3 are, let alone his number one choice. If Cesar has a few good games with us then he'll be called up again soon.

Few Brazilian football fans have ever heard of QPR — but they will now. Julio Cesar is a real transfer coup, he was voted the world’s best keeper in 2010!

Good article here on him and his situation with the Brazil team- seems as though he is determined to get back in to their side for 2014.
