    Am I the only one....

That things SWP was dog $hite last night? Ive seen a couple of people post their preferred teams today and include SWP; he was woeful last night. In the first half right in front of where I was sitting (B Block) at least 3 times he failed to beat Walsall's left back. No offence to Walsall, but we are 2 leagues above them and SWP should be having a field day against them.

Yes, he scored, but with the ball Zamora gave him I think even I'd have scored that.

I hate getting on Rs players backs, I really do, but he just isnt good enough for me. Last year excuses were made about Warnock playing him on the left etc, but even on the right he cant cut it. For all mackies faults and limited ability, Id sooner have him on the right than SWP -all day everyday.

Cant wait for Faurlin to be fully fit so he can slot in the middle and allow Park to play on the right.

i thought he did ok but his performance didn't blow me away. he was also sat quite deep quite often which i think blunted his effectiveness. i think on days like yesterday when hoilett was underperforming and swp too, it makes us look very mediocre. we need players like that paying 100% to their ability. the team had better shape when hoilett came off i think.

was pleased swp got his goal but thought johnson played much better. swp gets into similar scraps as johnson trying to regain the ball etc. but doesn't seem to have the same tenacity.
    come on you r's!

      I thought hoillet was toilet

He undoubtedly has talent so I'm hoping for a marked improvement on his first 3 games that I've seen him in.

He was last night mate yea I agree. Swansea showed glimmers of his ability.

No doubt he will be a good buy, but cant argue his performance last night. Would still start him vs Citeh though.

That almost sums up what I was saying last night to another fan at the game.

I thought SWP should have been taking the full back on and he failed to do so. I also thought Hoilett was poor and also failed to run at defenders.

If & when all players are fit, I can see Diakite and Faurlin in the middle with Park on the right. Hoilett, Taarabt, Traore, Cisse & Zamora to contest the other 3 places in the attacking positions. for most games, I think Mackie will be on the bench along with SWP.

I thought he played ok but not amazing. Then again quite a few of our players weren't quite up for it yesterday e.g. Hoilett, Ferdinand, even Zamora (up till his goal). I thought swp was in space on the right wing all the time, but no one looked up and saw him free. This was the case for most of the game imo.

To be fair to everyone else he makes no effort to let anybody know he is in space! i was literally 6 foot away from him last night and he was just standing there in silence waiting for balls to be gifted to him from nowhere. SWP and Hoilett should of been having a field day with the Walsall defence yesterday but they disappointed massively.

You could say that mate, pretty literally. Been taking a double dose of these this past week, wreaking havoc on me insides:
