point taken but i was suggesting the 3.5 would have been spent on a goalscorer..........be it beckford,morrison,cox,hooper etc..............another midfielder was not a neccessity pete!

That gets my vote. It really should have been obvious to the people making the decision. We just don't seem to have learned.
