Mayuka hardly prolific - 43 in 158 - and a bit of a come down from Defoe.

Agreed. But in Hughes and Rigg, I trust.

The guys class on Fifa. Just saying.
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He's 21, won the Golden Boot at ACN. Personally I'd rather see the club pay a third of what Defoe would cost to sign a player who is on the rise rather than having passed their peak.

              Exactly this.

he has been developing and its not surprising that his tally isn't top notch yet as many of those games may have been when very young and breaking through.

He has years in him, is hungry, and would cost little. Also he may know how to pass a football, unlike Defoe.
