      Agree.
The sooner our lot morph into a team, instead of a group of talented individuals, the better.

We done this is the FA Cup and lost Faurlin for the season then everyone said why did we put out our best players

Game for the fringe players in my book bigger fish to fry and in all honesty tonking Walsall 3 nil will have no bearing on the City game saturday with regards confidence

Maybe give faurlin a start. Take him off at half time or give him an hour. Miss his presence in the middle!!

Rather see Ehmer, Doughty, Harriman, Derry, Hogan, Nelson, AJ given games. Should be enough to see off Walsall, all got points to proove. Dont fancy getting another injury ala Faurlins in a league cup game.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Look, if we always took the coward's way out, we wouldn't even play 'em in pre-season for fear they may fall over and hurt themselves.

                    No.
History suggests that would be a recipe for an early exit. AGAIN.

Why would it? "History" is the key word here.
Bit like saying Germany cant vote a man into power with a silly tash cos "history suggests he might get abit power hungry".

Joking aside, I can see both sides of the arguement, just my personal view we should give the players with a point to prove a run out as theyre guna give 110%. Really cant imagine many of our "stronger" 11 wanting to go into any big 50-50s in a Legaue Cup game vs Walsall.

May do better with our weakest, we haven't exactly set the world alight with our top players so far have we?
