Heard today that we have made an approach to bring him out of retirement. I was amazed when told and this came from a player at QPR. Has anyone else heard this?

Agreed. Maldini is not what either the team needs or what Magilton needs. Imagine the pressure this would put on Magilton. We have already seen one footballing legend with no managerial experience brought in as manager so we know Briatore isn't adverse to appointing them so what would happen if Magilton doesn't achieve early on? Maldini as boss.

Watching us miss chance after chance in matches, is a likely scenario again this season, so let's go and get 40 something Paulo Maldini who was once a great defender. :very_sad:
