Last time we lost 5 nil at home in the league?

Pretty sure we got tonked by Middlesbrough 5-0, but we may have pulled one back?

We definitely lost 5-0 to Everton one year. Late 70s? Early 80s?

I felt utter embarrassed coming out of that ground on Saturday.

We have had a few stuffings away from home!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

It was good to hear 'boring boring swansea' coming from the away end at 5-0, at least some fans have a sense of humour.

I read somewhere that it was the worst home defeat for 62 years!

It wasn't that long ago we were on the wrong of a six-nil at home against Arsenal. Cup game of course and we were in a lower division, so maybe that doesn't count.

I can certainly remember Southend knocking 5 past us a few years ago, although that was an away game.

Not sure if this is relevant, but I think United losing 6-1 at home last season to a team of their same calibre makes me feel a bit better about our defeat.

the last and only other time we lost by 5 goals at home was in 1950 against barnsley. that was the biggest losing margin at home in our history

that 5-0 score against everton was the season after we came runners up, that was a wake up call too, hasten to say a far better team than the one we have now

That was a cup game when we were dreadful. I'm talking about the league.
