I still believe that is the way forward if we're even half serious about the future. Problem yesterday was established players getting raped, the sadness was that in some cases it was totally predictable. The Mexican kid Reyez (CB) who subdued Brazil is 19 and still plays in S.America, if we're talking about the future that is the type of player we should be looking at. I seriously doubt that if he'd been at CB (preferably with P.Schmeichel in goal, who wanted away earlier in the summer) we'd be having this conversation. I'd have taken those two signings or similar plus Diakite and no other business.
