    Season Bet.

    I backed:
    Leeds
    MK Dons
    Southend

    all to get promoted

    Bolton
    Coventry
    Fleetwood

    All to win the league.

Anyone else had a little cheeky gamble?

Sounds good, but personally I'd have gone with Sheff Utd to win the league, because Isn't Coventry's squad now full of youth players?

In a friendly i assume? Brighton had a good pre-season, Beat chelsea 3-1, drew 1-1 with reading but played well then went and lost 3-0 to swindon last night, anything can happen.

Bayern, Eastleigh (Blue Square South) & Chester (Blue Square North) to win their leagues, Blackburn & Sheff Utd for promotion & Swansea to be relegated (probably the least likely tbf) - the 6-fold pays 1,800/1 so had £2 on it.

Also done Juve to win Serie A, Leicester, Sheff Utd & Southend for promotion plus us to finish top half in a 5-fold that was 292/1 so had a few quid on that.

Generally do a couple more near start of season (ie tomorrow!) and then as the season goes on when I realise the 1s I currently have look $hit I do a few more. Quite like the old antepost betting as it gives you a prolonged interest in other leagues throughout the season.

Qpr to finish in the top ten and cisse to be top pl scorer but I done that each way. Cisse is 80/1 with sky bet and I'm hoping he can nick in at 4th place so I get paid

A friendly or not, your first team shouldn't be getting convincingly outplayed by a non league team. Also beaten by Nuneaton, Ross County and Inverness. Although to be fair they've recently beat Accrington Stanley, Port Vale, Bristol Rovers and Dagenham.

Qpr 10/11 in a match bet against Stoke. How many points realistically do you think the top 4 in the prem will get

Winner will just surpass the 90 points mark I think, with 72 points securing 4th spot. *puts crystal ball away*.

Anybody else looked at the season handicap betting in which every team gets given a points handicap, with the favourites (ie Citeh) being 0, Utd probably given, say 2 points, then Chelski 5, Arsenal, say, 8 etc etc. At the end of the season, everybody has their allocated amount of points added to their final total to see who wins the "handicap league".
This year we have been given 37 points, odds are 15/1 which isnt a bad bet at all IMO.

Think Sheff Utd might let you chaps down... Swindon ad MK Dons seem like the teams to beat in L1.
