May aswell play Cerny upfront instead of them 2 donkeys! At least he'd probably score

Mark Hughes has said how well SWP has been playing and that he now has his confidence back, so I can see him playing on the right v Swansea. Taarabt should only play behind Cisse, as SWP/Mackie and Hoilett are better options on the wings but I can't see MH not playing two strikers. Team selection is going to be hard this season.

Still don't think Ferdinand is captain material. fine defender but no leader.
Hill for me, leads by example in attitude and has the vocal skills to.

line up will be much clearer after today's match and i don't think if we sign someone next week he will slide into the first eleven right away.

After todays match, I'd go with this. Take out Onuoha and put Fabio at RB and Traore at LB. Onuoha is very clumsy at times. SWP's plays really well in the middle so I'd play him CM along with Diakite, with Park on the right and Hoilett out on the left. Tarbs and Cisse up front. Bring on Ale Faurlin with 20 mins to go.

Now this team looks very solid, pacey and dangerous!

Would start Taarabt on right instead of Mackie.

i love having Mackie as an impact sub. His energy works against tired legs.

Other than that, if Diakite is fit, that's the XI I'd go with. SWP has done enough pre-season to get a chance through the middle.
