    Like Eyr's idea..

So I'll put them both together, with 3 chants of Pellicori (barmy army tune) added onto the end of my ditto

Robbo, you can just sing that bit if you want;D

To the tune of "It´s amore":

"When the ball hits the net,
      my trousers get wet,
      Pe-lli-cori",

"He can score with both feet,
      against anyone we meet,
      Pe-lli-cori"

Well I know which one of those two you are more likely to have grown men joining in with!

Support is support, so genuinely good luck with it.

You'll need it. (inserts winky emoticon)

Who would have thought Old Mcdonald theme tune, would have words to it??

forget about the campness, most songs originate from campish tunes.

"Your mums your dad" hardly orginates froma hard rock song

Gotta say the Wombles one is a laugh - but hardly original given the coverage the Shrimpers have got.

BUT YEAH - Pellicori to the barmy army works all day long. No confusion over the words and easy to do both sober and drunk. All we need now is for him to get some pitch time.

Pete... good luck with it. Seriously.

              You like it, I don't.
Stop trying to convince me that it's a good terrace song, and that it will get hundreds of grown men joining in, apart from your mates at the back(!)

It's no big deal, just sing away to your hearts content.
It's only a very small percentage of songs that really catch on anyway. Usually the simpler ones.

That's why the Barmy Army effort is a better bet.
