I don't see any benefit for us to loan him to anything lower than the Championship. Hed get better competition in training matches at Harlington with and against good players, plus no idiots trying to nail him to get themselves in the spotlight.

For most players i'd agree with you but I just think it would be good for Joey to understand what he's actually got with QPR, league 2 would do him good I think

He's got mates there I believe, and he and the club may believe it's more useful than training with the kids, for whatever reason.

Exactly this. Without opening up another Joey thread about why we all like / dont like him, I do like him, but really dont think he will ever wear a hooped shirt again as long as Sparkie is in charge.

Unfortunately this is correct. Hughes wanted to fire him in the tunnel after the Man City game. Not sure who talked him out of it.
