Might have it wrong but Hargreaves might just be going on the tour to get a bit of match practice and then move on.

I doubt the club is taking him out of the kindness of their hearts. I think Barton's career is pretty much over at QPR.

Not surprised that Bothroyd has not gone . His attitude and work rate is poor , Helguson has shown over the last few season that with a lot of effort you can still be a good player even if you are not technically great ! He is a championship player .

IF we do get a stiker i think it would be more likely to be a target man now HH has gone and Both could be possiblyon his way, as opposed to poacher. That would rule out defoe imo and more likely a RSC / Berbatov type, but Berbatov has said not interested in us, so who knows... Maybe MH has a foreign gem he has his eye on.

Can´t we also make use of Mackie as a potential targetman? If so, then I can see us signing a player like Defoe.

I would imagine that we would be after a CB and a defender to cover Fabio afterall he is only on loan and could possibly get recalled by Fergie.

But honestly I wouldn't mind signing Hargreaves at all, he is/was a top player & apprently he's not missed training with Man City since January till when he left. This really could be the positive surprise signing we make this season

100% right , just couldn't get in the city team ! If he does well in Germany then I can't see anything else then a 1 year deal coming his way . Basic wage , pay as you play bonus !!
