    Ascot 4.05 'Dark Ranger'

For any mug punters out there who like betting on names,
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Before we played Brighton away on a Monday night many years ago a few of us went to Brighton races first and the last race had a jockey in blue and white hoops

We all backed it just for a laugh really and most of us had a tenner on it and it came in at 33/1

We were at Ascot for the King George on Saturday & we had a whisper about Redzer in the first, had to get on it @ 12/1 because I'd only just stopped laughing after watching that BBC3 programme about irish rappers ! Proper mug punting

It won, BUT luck didn't get any better after that . . . . . Done my ****** what with all the ale etc ! Box should be a laugh but of course with the good weather forecast all the scantily dressed fillies will be out by the bandstand . . . .

I was at Ascot last weekend on King George Six stakes. Some of us was handcuffed to a midget. 22 of us there and we had a tenner on Gospel Chior in the last which paid for a lot of drinks for the rest of the night. Was a great day and now thinking of making it a regular occurrence every year! Top day out

About 18 of us went yesterday to Ascot all QPR fans and had a cracking day out especially as most of us all won as well

The mug bet of the day was when we all threw in a tenner each to back a horse called Corparal Maddox in the last and it duly obliged at 5/1 though we took 4/1 at the time when putting the bet on

It was the nearest name we could find with a slight QPR connection and hopefully Danny wont mind us misspelling his name!

Great to have a few beers with Kenny S as well who was on his usual top form but is really missing watching Rangers

Glad you had a few winners, did ya spend your winnings in Bar / Club 1 afterwards ?
