Twitter is not a person! It's a collection of people discussing things like at my local pub.

The credence a post like this gets depends on WHO made the post on twitter.

If I said "Messi Joining according to the Red Lion" no one would take any notice.

If I said "I just met Phill Beard in the Red Lion and here's a photo to prove it. While we were talking he mentioned we were in early discussions with Barcelona for Messi's signing". Well that's something different.

PLEASE people..."according to Twitter" carries no credibility. If you are going to state a source then state the person and why that person may have inside knowledge. By all means tell us that you saw them say it on Twitter if that helps...!

I shall reply once...which is once more that I usually do to anyone that feels they have the right to use foul language at me.

I did not suggest you couldn't post a rumour, nor did I suggest you needed my permission. Both of those assertions would be silly. In case it is still not clear i also did not suggest you couldn't read Twitter to obtain those rumours.
