West Ham - Crap manager, how on earth the spammers didn't win the league with them players including Kevin Nolan & getting outplayed by Blackpool in the final
Norwich - I think they've got a very good manager but they don't have the players, they got lucky to win early games last year, won't happen this year
Wigan - I think they're going now, they lost one of their key players (who's not that good) and Moses will jump when he can.

Don't equate success with names on paper Del, and its 2nd season syndrome for you too!

not sure that's right. i dont mean this rudely but you are still in spirit, style and personel essentially a championship club who played very direct football which surprised a few footballing aristocrats last season who expected an easy game and were rudely awakened. this season they will know what to expect. plus with norwich it was all about the manager, and he has left for a bigger club. your star player also wanted to leave. psychologically that cant be good. plus you dont have the budget to compete.

we by contrast have effectively been through at least two seasons already, or so it seems. we have changed manager (in our case out of choice, and traded up) and have replaced all but a few of the good honest toilers of the championship team for genuinely prem class players. of course many a boasting football fan in june is made to look a complete plonker by christmas, but i think looked at objectively any bookie wd see us as stronger by quite a distance. imho of course.

Dear First Wizard, please refrain from wishing a second season syndrome on our team. I am of the opinion that you only frequented this site last season to revel in our relegation woes. I personally hope that the club Norwich suffer such woes the coming season so that i may frequent their site to witness , like a voyeur , their angst.
