In my view, we could expect 'in'-top 6 next season.

If that happens we will be able to participate in the UEFA Europa League

    Whats ur idea?

Sorry no chance - were building to get there it will take time the only way to get into the top six in one or 2 seasons is to spend 100 million.

Yes we are improving our squad but we are not there yet as we will still have a poor overall 25 squad than the others.

What if we bring Hoilett, Bellamy, Ki, and a decent CB?

Not yet as we have improved our squad we still dont havve a depth for a top 6 e.g. id Cisse gets injuried or suspended who would be there to score the goals that he does Bellend / Hoilet wont hes a great winger not an out and out goal scorer. What happend if Zamora gets injured for 5 / 6 games on the trott who steps in HH - great player but is getting old can he last 6 straigh matches. In defence if we get 2 injuires in the same postion we get a lot weaker.

Top 6 sides have a full versitiale 25 that can coupe with these, yes they may get weaker but not as weak as we do.

We are still improving and aiming towards were you want to get too but it will take some time. If we have a injury free season and some luck then maybe, but we are setting expectations here so i would say 12th to 14th and anything else we can toast too. Set these targets too high at this stage and if we dont hit them everyone will moan and the season will be a dissapointment, you just have to look at Spuds to see that. They finished 4th andthere fans comaplined like crazy they didnt finish 3rd and sacked HR all becase of a poor ending as there star players got tired and failed to perform, the reason for this is HR couldnt rest them as they dont have a strong enough 25 (gareth bale as an example).

Getting from 7th to 6th is a big step. This is IMO

imo chris samba is worth 2 places on his own. statistically he gets his head to 70% of all corners into the 6 yard area.....at either end....that is astonishing

I think some of our newer fans might have too high expectations, wonder what will happen if they are left disappointed....

Hughes will certainly have a dilemma between PJS, Taarabt, Diakite, Hoilett (If he signs), Faurlin, Mackie, Traore, Derry. However, I think SWP and Derry will be used as subs in most games.
