Is it just me then who thought he looked ridiculously slow at the Euros and was well hidden in that defence?

Don't get me wrong a great player on his day but that kind of money could be better spent IMHO.

Still don't think we can compete for this kind of player from overseas anyway but I think it's a good thing in this case

pepe was awesome, but alves was great too. good tackles and great passing. at this moment he's one of the best cbs in the world imho.
