If JB's ban is from the English FA, could he then in theory play in Scotland, where we are supposedly looking at a couple of players..??
That would be a win win situation, Joey gets fitter quicker, and passes his ban time away, and what is decided at the end of that time will be what ever it is.

Hope this is true, what actually happens does anyone know?

Does he go onloan there, run down his ban & then plays until January & comes back?
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

likelihood will be the team can have him for 2/3 months(paying 0% of wages) and then we will have him back.

his ban will likely be up within 8 weeks in the championship so the club would have him available for the tail end of month 3.

he won't play for us again - he needs to be fit so he can be sold on.

Think more likely it will be until January as I don't think he will be named in the 25.

I thought the only place he could play was abroad as he's not allowed to play in England for 3 months so what team in England would loan a player pay his wages knowing they can't use him for three months
I can understand us wanting him to go out on loan so he's match fit when his ban ends and can hit the ground running, but I think abroad is the only option?

QPR would still pay his wages if he went to a Championship club. As they play in the 1st round of the league cup,it would be another game of his ban eaten up. So from a QPR point of view it would make Seneca to loan him out for a month at a time, so that he returns in Nov ready to play.

Can't see the FA having that. If Barton goes abroad and the league he goes to do not recognise his ban they will simply ban him for the same 12 games when he returns........they're not daft. The Scottish FA did it with Duncan Ferguson when he got jailed, as he was in jail and unavailable for selection his ban was suspended until his release.

The most sensible idea is to offer him on a free loan (or a loan with a small nominal fee paid for every appearance he makes) to a Championship side. Their season starts a week sooner and the games clock up a bit quicker, Joey sees out his ban and gets 6 weeks of playing time then is back with us for the 2nd half of the season!

dopey idea, the FA would never allow it.

I cant see Joey going out on loan. His pride wont let him and he's wont want to uproot his family just to run down his suspension.

He's is settled in London, in fact you can tell he love London too much to hang around somewhere else to run down his suspension but he might, just might be willing to go to a championship club if it in London, but still cant see it happening anyway

I think a lot of people are missing the point that he can't play in England Prem, league 1,2,3 so the only place he can go and plays abroad and no club will take him if they can't use him

Have to admit I cant see Joey playing for us again. Personally, would think its a shame, but I dont think the club want him any more. The fact they didnt come out and back him during his FA investigation after the City game, to me, spoke volumes. Then, as I see it, the club looked into sacking him, found out it would cost a bomb (reported £11mill wasnt it?), and so punished him as harshly as they could instead.

Think they will be looking to off load come Jan.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

It would not surprise me one bit.

Joey should just quit the twitter and keep his head down and work hard in training, that the only way to convince the club to keep him if he willing to change his attitude
