Decent enough but maybe too complicated for our lot to bother with.

Why not just copy the Ryan Gigss song from Man United. Change Ryan Giggs to Wayne Routledge and hey presto, a song that will be sung!

                Running down the wing,

Pete, this HAS HAS HAS to be sung. I was going to ask you if it was tried last night, especially in light of his hat trick.

Since reading it the other day when you posted it, it's been stuck in my head and it really really works. I remember down at Bristol last year the "best midfield in the world" song really got going and it stuck. The same has to happen for this.

We need more good "long" songs like the Buz one, like the midfield one and like magic hat and this is the best for a while.

Do what you have to, print the words out and hand them out, whatever, but it's a great song, and Routledge deserves one, as with our forwards sadly lacking, it's players like him that can make the difference and I'm pretty sure players like have a proper song about them rather than the "there's only one" etc

You know it makes sense !
Fags n weed, glue n speed, but I draws the line at crack !

And maybe afterwards, he can pass a collection plate around? Or we could get some bells installed in the roof, and he could pull the ropes?

Yep, Pete handing printed song-sheets out to fans before the game.... that'll go down well. :waaaht:

Or maybe you could do it Robbo, save Pete the job.

That was a tongue in cheek suggestion, but it does make me laugh. We all love a good atmosphere and a great song, but nobody wants to do anything about it.............so, I'm sure you have plenty of suggestions mate, so lets hear them.

                            Oooh.

It's not a bad song, but when you make suggestions like that, then make it a teeny bit clearer that your tongue is implanted in the cheek area... and you wont get childish p*ss taking replies like mine.

Because, lets be straight about this... there are people on these websites that are capable of actually seriously suggesting that kind of thing.

The song's ok, probably one of those that will catch on better at away games. Most do.

It is a good song. It will work without a doubt, not being able to go on Saturday I look forward to getting it going at Ashton Gate, which is always a good atmosphere.
