just remember how excited we got this time last year when we beat a lower division team 4-0 in the carling cup, ledesma got a hat trick, and look what happened after. All the "we dont need a striker" threads were started again back then.

      brightonr, well put.

i've said serious stuff is back on for Saturday, but I just know what it will be if we win 2 or 3-0 thi saturday.

Matthew we also lost 2-1 away to Orient two years ago and I get told we have not progressed. its a matter of using an argument that suits.

A game in which the "Great Jermaine Beckford", managed only 2 goals in 90 minutes, as opposed to Routledge's 3 in 65. Surely people can't have it both ways.
If they are that bad, then £2m for Beckford may be a little on the steep side.
If they are not, then a little credit for the 2nd half performance would not be too much to ask.
but the debate has always been hes better than any striker we got, which is still the case... :electric_shock:

Plymouth will be very tuff! And it dont get any easier at Bristol.

Before the Blackpool game i predicted on another thread win against plymouth and draw at Bristol so i'll stick to that....

If we get 2 wins then happy happy days.
