So why are they now holding an enquiry?

They can have an enquiry now, but they can't ban someone when he is in court for the same offence or can risk being sued. An enquiry can look at the behaviours of BOTH players and decide if action needs to be taken. However, the enquiry won't find him guilty of being a racist as a higher authority has found him not guilty.

because CCTV does not record sound and video footage without real witnesses will not stand up in court. If you beat someone up, that is a visual crime.

Also - do you really think the police would waste time on a crime where someone said they were called names and the only evidence is silent CCTV footage? I have reported a serious crime to the police and because I didn't have 300 witnesses and a signed confession they told me to get lost.

Matty - if you called someone a name and it was "caught" on CCTV it would not even get to court. Get a grip.

If none of them heard it though, how could they? If Anton didn't hear it, and he was the one on the receiving end, it's unlikely anyone else did. If they had, you can bet your life there would have been a bigger reaction on the night.
