Buzzer was a great player for Rangers during the Orange transition period. He fitted well into a championship side, scored some great goals and I will remember him fondly. To say he has legend status is, I suppose, relative. Maybe for a few of our younger fans that never saw the likes of Rodney, Stan, Currie, Thomas and other greats from that era, or even Ferdinand, Wegerle, Sinclair and their equals, it is understandable because he does have a sweet foot and stood out on occasions in the fizzy pop leagues.
Not a legend, not a true great, but certainly a gifted player who leaves with a decent reputation = thanks Buzzer, good luck#standuptocancer

gave our pride and swagger back when we were all a bit despondent and lit up Loftus Rd with some really memorable goals. The cruelty of football is that without that double injury I think he cd have been a Prem player. Unless he has something lined up with a weak-ish prem side I think its a poor decision on his part as after a year with us he surely cd still have still got himself a Championship club, but v gd luck to him all the same.Comment

I don't personally understand the references to him geing a legend and great; he has not even come close to that in a Rangers shirt. Average player at bestComment
-
David Beckham has made a pretty good career out of that......
Cheers Buzz....really enjoyed watching you play.Comment

QPR legends include the likes of Macca, Sir Les, Marsh and Bowles. Buzz is not in that class.
Good luck in whatever you do next Buzz.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

David beckham was an is a brilliant all round footballer... Buzz is slow and IMO makes some dreadful decisions.. Don't argue he's god a decent right peg but we've moved onComment

Could not agree with you more!!! add to that his inability to pick out one of his own players with a pass and that he bottles challenges I personally am not disappointed to see his departure.Comment

We all know he is not a legend for QPR but that don't mean he wasn't a good servant for us. Like all players who have been with us and tried for our sake and the team and club we appreciate them and thank them. Like always we will look out for them wherever they end up.Comment

We have much better players coming togethor now - no room for him. No room for sentimentality. Out with the old and in wit hthe new.
Legend - that is just ridiculous.Comment

Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GOComment
