Kolo Toure told he can leave City

A rumour from earlier in the month and City are now ready to sell. He's already turned down a move to Turkey.

Samba would definitely be everyones first choice, however if we can't get him then Toure would still be a great buy

Yeah we would but Samba moved to Russia only 5 months ago on a 4 year deal for a fee in the region of 12m.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

No thanks. We've already got Ryan Nelsen and Clint Hill in their 30s. Wages would be massive and no resale value.

He's 31, got at least another 4 years in him. As for resale value, he'll cost 5m. Sign him on a 3 year deal which equates to 1.6m a season, hardly breaking the bank when people want to pay 12-15m for 28 year old Samba who'll probably be on the same wages as Toure.
