how about ephraim up front? I know everyone (even rammage) has been mentioned as a poss striker and im not saying its ideal, but at the risk of starting a tarabat style debate, wasn't hogan originally signed as a striker???

what i don't understand is why he has nearly always been played on the left even before routledge came;as he is clearly right-footed

Ephraim was a striker at West Ham.
I could see him developing into a Kevin Phillips type poacher with the right coaching.
Grew in confidence as the match went on yesterday and deserved his goal -- a shame he didn't score with the injury-type screamer which nearly killed the Exeter fullback who blocked it on(over???)the line with his chest -- thought the poor bloke had been struck stone dead with that!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Cracking goal. I think we'll have some disgruntled players in the squad. Not enough positions for everyone.
