The new stadium naming thread

I'd love for it to be named after a player or something original but I understand the need to generate revenue via sponsorship.

I started this thread to have a light hearted stab at naming the stadium and it's growing into a full debate!

The Durex stadium is sounding more likely than I thought!

the stadium should be called .................the sensation

this will make it more marketitable in other industries beside soccer and lets be honest for this to be profitable it needs to host more events beside football

we need pop concerts etc

Exactly, the Mcdonald stand is fine (though suspect Fernandes wd rather it be "the McDonalds stand") and a fitting tribute. You cd even have the Kieron Dyer Treatment Centre. But its got to be appreciated that this is a business, not some tribute site for old boys.

What do you mean by that?

Well I just think all these QPR related names are really silly. As already explained to anybody who bothered to read the article posted from the times, the name of the stadium will be sold for sponsorship. its one of the small ways the club can claw back some of the money. it will also be a multi-purpose arena so the name v unlikely to have any association with football.
